In week 3 we continued to work on MIT app inventor. This week we created magic8ball. I found this interesting as we went further in the process of making an app than we had in Hellopurr. In this we downloaded and tested the app. I feel like this will become useful when we create our app in group projects. MIT inventor comes across as very complicated and scary at first as it is a whole new subject and I have never pursued anything like this before. I feel like the challenge is great, and apps are a huge thing in todays society. It is even more compelling to be able to see the work that goes on behind the use of an app.

Week 2 - Tutorial
In our First tutorial in Newstead with Shane on the 30th of January 2015 we learnt how to create an app.
We began by creating a simple app called Hellopurr where we added a photo, a vibration and a meow sound. This exercise will come in useful when we are creating our app for this module. We began by setting up our app on appinventor, we then added the photo which was all quite straight forward.
I then added the vibration which I understood also. The hardest part of this I felt was joining the vibration with the sound clip. Although when I realised how to do it I felt silly it took me so long to get my head around it.
Overall this exercise proved useful for our project and it challenged me which I felt was beneficial.
